TGNC Health Research Program Manager

(They/Them/Theirs)

Nat Ross, BA (They/Them/Theirs) is the TGNC Health Research Program Manager at Howard Brown Health. They split their time 90% with HBH’s Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy (ERA) and 10% with HBH’s Social Services Department. They started with Howard Brown as a student-intern in 2011. Since then, they’ve taken on numerous roles, including: Research Assistant, Research Project Coordinator, and Education and Research Associate, before moving into my current role as TGNC Health Research Program Manager.

Their professional interests include community-based participatory research (CBPR), specifically with the trans and gender nonconforming/nonbinary communities. CBPR is a collaborative approach to research that involves community partners in all steps of the research process, an approach they believe is necessary to establish community trust and lead to development of meaningful research and relevant findings for community.

Nat loves spending time with their pitties, Nala and Jax. They also enjoy painting, plants, and geek out over all things DIY.
