Kenneth Camacho, BS (He, Him, His) is a Social Behavioral Research Assistant at Howard Brown Health’s Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy (ERA). Kenneth spent his undergrad at Loyola University Chicago, obtaining a BS in psychology. Currently, Kenneth is attending DePaul University for his graduate degree in nursing.  

Kenneth started as an AmeriCorps volunteer working with a Chicago community-based organization providing sexual health education and screenings. Kenneth continued his work in providing HIV prevention education and screenings until transitioning to a research role at HBH in 2017. Topics of interest include: social factors of healthcare utilization, crisis intervention with minority populations, and the use of gardening in the therapeutic process. Kenneth’s interests include edible gardening, anime, books about death and dying, and cats.
