Ayanna N. Armstrong Robinson is an expert C-suite administrative professional currently at Egon Zehnder, a global industry leader in executive search, board advisory, CEO succession, and leadership advisory.
Ms. Robinson, a former staff member of Howard Brown Health helped staffed, trained, and supervised a team of dynamic executive assistants who provided top tier admin support for HBH’s Executive Leadership Team, supported CEO David Munar, and managed its north-side administration building.
In 2016, Ayanna obtained an associate degree from the University of Phoenix, where her focus was on Human Services Management. A born and raised Chicagoan and a staunch community advocate for children, and LGBTQ+ causes, she is proudly trans and part of the underground ball culture—she holds the title of Iconic Midwest Mother of the House of Balenciaga. And going into its 22nd year, she is also co-proprietor of the Midwest Awards Ball celebration, which is the Midwest’s longest running ballroom event for LGBTQ+ individuals.
