My passion is bridging the gap between the African American population and healthcare. With there being such a great deal of medical mistrust, I want to serve as a safe space for those underserved and underrepresented populations. There is such a variety of chronic conditions that plague the African American community, therefore I’m very passionate about having a firm foundation on these conditions and how to meet patients where they are in their journey. In addition to being a resource for the black community, I also want to ensure our younger population of all sexual orientations (with an emphasis on the LGBTQ+ community) are engaged in proper primary care, as well as equipped with the proper knowledge to maintain their sexual health.
