The objective of these studies is to advance medical knowledge in hopes of improving care for LGBTQ+ patients. The findings support our commitment to eliminating disparities and to promote the health and wellness of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as to promote transformative action within healthcare systems that is beyond our clinics.

Hormone Therapy, Hypertension, and Thromboembolism Among Transgender Patients

This observational study of Howard Brown Health patients looked at transgender patients using sex hormones (estrogen and testosterone) to assess their risk of blood clots or high blood pressure.
