Elena Gonzalez Molina, BFA, BA (She/Her/Hers) is a Social & Behavioral Research Coordinator at Howard Brown Health’s Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy (ERA). She attended DePaul University, double majoring in Community Psychology and Theatre Arts. Her academic focus included trauma, trauma-informed care and harm reduction.
During her undergraduate experience at DePaul, Elena completed a research assistantship with Dr. Susan McMahon studying violence perpetrated against teachers. Additional research projects include trauma-informed care for teachers and ME/CFS among historically marginalized communities. Her professional interests’ center on trauma informed care and trauma healing among those impacted by the judicial system.
Elena’s personal interests include gardening, city walks, meditation and silence, non-fiction/fantasy/classic novels, painting, Sudoku, and cran-apple juice.
