Patient Advisory Council

The Patient Advisory Council (PAC) is composed of Howard Brown Health patients who provide feedback to staff on how the agency can improve its services and work with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+), and HIV+ communities in Chicago.
Member Responsibilities
PAC meets in person every other month at Howard Brown sites (i.e. Uptown/Lakeview and Englewood). PAC member attendance and participation at meetings providing their experiences and feedback is essential. PAC members may be asked to help promote Howard Brown’s programs and services at events like health fairs, parades, and street festivals.


Stipend and Dinner
PAC members receive a meal at their in-person meetings and an electronic $25 stipend to their PayPal account for their participation.
