How PAC Members Make a Positive Difference
- We come together in person every other month (alternating between north and south side clinic sites) with Howard Brown staff to learn about current and upcoming initiatives focused on enhancing care and support for our patients.
- We share patient feedback and concerns with leadership and offer thoughtful ideas to help address challenges and create a more positive patient experience.
- PAC members are encouraged to take part in community events (ie Diabetes Fair, Colorectal Cancer Awareness Event & World AIDS Day) and help spread the word about the many services Howard Brown Health offers including primary care, dental care and behavioral health services.
- We also volunteer to support Howard Brown. In the past we have helped at The Brown Elephant-Andersonville, the Gala, Pride Parade, Pride Fest, Market Days, El Mercadito and some of us even participated in AIDS Run & Walk!
- PAC members also volunteer at various clinics, connecting with patients and helping identify meaningful ways to enhance services and support ongoing improvement.
