March 10 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

Claim Your Power! “Knowing your HIV status puts the power in your hands.”

Every year on March 10 and throughout the month of March local, state, federal, and national organizations come together to shed light on the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and girls and to show support for those at risk of and living with HIV. Women of all ages, races, and ethnicities can get HIV, but some women face a higher risk than others. On National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we invite you to claim your power and join us at Howard Brown Health for:

  • Free HIV & STI Screening & Access to Affordable Healthcare
  • A Meaningful Discussion on HIV Prevention & Care for Women & Girls

Hosted by Terra Campbell, Associate Director of Community Relations, this conversation will feature:

  • Dr. Kenya Thomas, MD (Director of Preventive Medicine at Howard Brown Health 55th St)
  • Janis Robinson, APN, FNP-BC, (63rd St Sexual Health Walk-In Provider)
  • Maya Crawford, Registered Nurse (Howard Brown 63rd St.)
  • And more incredible voices!

Plus, enjoy an amazing dinner from Burp Catering!

The first 15 people who get screened and stay for the entire event receive a $20 gift card.
