Ali Butler-Córdova, BA (She/Her/Hers) is a Social & Behavioral Research Coordinator at Howard Brown Health’s Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy (ERA). She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Liberal Studies and a minor in Public Health. Her academic interests centered on identity, memory and narrative, and justice— all of which culminated in a thesis detailing cultural and collective trauma in post-dictatorship Argentina.

Alison has held positions supporting the community at New York University throughout her time there. She also interned for U.S. representative Mark Pocan as well as at a non-profit supporting the arts in Buenos Aires. Her professional interests include LGBTQ+ community-based justice and healthcare, as well as addressing how health disparities are inextricably tied to the various ways individuals and communities face oppression on a wider scope.  In her spare time, Alison enjoys watching reality TV, traveling, reading, and skateboarding.
