(January 19, 2017, Chicago, IL) – In January, Dr. Eric Christoff, a veteran provider in Chicago with a specialty in HIV care, joined the medical practice at Howard Brown Health. Previously with the Northwestern Medical Group, Dr. Christoff is a member of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association and the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr. Christoff will practice from Howard Brown Health Clark, its new clinic in Rogers Park.
“We’re thrilled to offer our patients the benefits of an experienced provider like Dr. Eric Christoff, a passionate and caring physician who brings a wealth of knowledge to our growing team,” said David Ernesto Munar, President and CEO of Howard Brown Health. “Not only will Dr. Christoff deepen the base of expert HIV care for our patients, he will also be an asset to our younger medical staff, who will no doubt benefit from his expertise and skill.”
Prior to joining Howard Brown Health, Dr. Eric Christoff was an internal medicine physician at Northwestern Medical Group since 1997; he was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine faculty at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM), teaching both medical students and physician assistant students in the Physician Assistant Training Program; and was a volunteer physician at the FSM Student Clinic at Community Health in Chicago.
“I’m very excited to join Howard Brown and to help patients with a truly team-based approach to care,” said Dr. Christoff. “At Howard Brown, patients can come in and address their physical and mental health care needs in a single visit, on the same day. This approach will allow me to take better care of my patients. For a patient to be able to ask questions outside of strictly medical needs is invaluable. Medical care needs to meet patients where they are at, and Howard Brown can do that.”
To make an appointment with Dr. Christoff, patients should call 773.388.1600. Dr. Christoff is based out of Howard Brown Health Clark at 6500 N. Clark Street, in Rogers Park. More information is available at www.howardbrown.org or http://www.howardbrown.org/inicio for information in Spanish.
