The Brown Elephant’s ‘Best of’ Event to Showcase Designer Labels at Resale Prices

(Chicago, IL, October 11, 2017) – On November 4 and 5, the Brown Elephant will host its 5th “Best of” event, offering a curated selection of vintage and high-end clothes, shoes, and accessories from all three of its Chicago-area stores. Proceeds from the event and all Brown Elephant locations benefit Howard Brown Health, which provides affirming, heathcare services to the LGBTQ community and allies at seven clinic locations in Chicago.

WHEN: Saturday, November 4, 2017, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 5, 2017, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Created and curated by the Brown Elephant’s very own Branding and Design Manager, Ana Culajay, the Brown Elephant Best Of event features an on-trend assortment of designer and vintage clothing and accessories that have been specially curated over the past few months from donations to each of the company’s three stores. The unique event will feature designers such as Gucci, Chanel, Balmain, Chloé, Lavin, Prada, and many one-of-a-kind vintage garments.

The Brown Elephant Resale Shops support the mission of Howard Brown Health, with profits supporting healthcare services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and our allies who are either uninsured or underinsured.

Howard Brown Health exists to eliminate the disparities in health care experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through research, education and the provision of services that promote health and wellness.
