Willie Love, BS (He, Him, His) is a Social Behavioral Research Coordinator at Howard Brown Health’s Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy (ERA). He was a health sciences student with a focus on epidemiology and sexual transmitted infections at DePaul University. Willie spent a summer shadowing clinicians at Cook County Hospital, which was very informative on the health disparities that continue to happen within even large hospital systems. During his undergrad, he interned at Cook County Jail as a HIV counselor and data entry specialist. Soon after, he started doing research on risk factors associated with young same gender loving, gay, and/or bisexual men who are HIV positive. Willie states that he is an adventurer and extremely curious. His interests change pretty often with constants being music, basketball, and technology.
