Trevor Rayhons is a specialist in corporate communications at Horizon Therapeutics plc, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on researching, developing and commercializing innovative medicines that address unmet treatment needs for rare and rheumatic diseases. In his role, Rayhons assists in developing and executing internal and external integrated communications campaigns, maintaining social media channels, company intranet and global digital signage while supporting employee engagement communications and collaborating with agency partners.
Prior to his position at Horizon, Rayhons served as an account coordinator at GCI Health where he worked on a number of accounts such as Pfizer rare disease, Sanofi oncology, Bristol-Myers Squibb immuno-oncology and Chicago new business initiatives.
In May 2018, Rayhons graduated with his Bachelor of Art in public relations and business communication from the University of Northern Iowa.
In addition to his role on the Vernita Gray Council, Rayhons serves on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America Chicago chapter and as the events chair for the Public Relations Society of America’s national new professionals executive committee.
