Corinne Alexander

Council Member at Large

Corinne Alexander is currently a regional Operations Manager for Lanter Delivery Services, where she focuses on improving supply chain system efficiency and quality control efforts. Prior to this role she has had a blended career, between construction project management and nonprofit management.

A critical turning point came when she began working for Open Door Community Health Center, an HIV and STI Clinic in the western suburbs, as the Interim Executive Director. Through her critical work reconciling the financial and organizational structure of the agency, her heart was touched by the community the clinic served and the passion of the clinical staff and case managers. Through Howard Brown she is honored and thrilled to continue to support the mission and purpose of the organization.

Corinne received her Masters degree in Sociology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, focusing on criminal justice and crime prevention and deterrence. Prior to this she received her Bachelor’s of Arts in both Economics and Sociology, with a focus on global development and underdevelopment patterns.

She is passionate about human rights, fighting inequality, community education and politicization, and improving systems. She currently lives in the western suburbs with her three daughters.
