Ava L. Wells-Quantrell, AA (She/Her/Hers) is the Community Research and Engagement Program Manager at Howard Brown Health’s Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy.

Ava has an extensive amount of experience in her former occupation with leading program and project management and coordination efforts for several community-based projects. She also has provided administrative and outreach duties and responsibilities through quality patient-focused care to monolingual English and French-speaking patients and clients. Ava oversees and coordinates the Trans Accountability Project, creates new community-based projects as well as implements and conducts focus groups as a function of the Social Behavioral Research Team. Ava identifies herself as being an individualist and a lover of early works on transsexual psychology. A couple of her favorite authors are Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Isabelle Boni-Claverie. Her favorite music group is Paradis and her favorite artist is Nicholle Kobi. She also loves reality TV and post-punk revival musicians.
