Howard Brown Health Presents: The Best of Brown Elephant, A Specially Curated Fashion and Accessories Event

 

The “Best of” event highlights designer and vintage clothing and accessories selected from all three Brown Elephant locations

 

(Chicago, September 12, 2016) – Today, Howard Brown Health announced the dates for its “Best of The Brown Elephant,” a weekend featuring high-end, designer and vintage items from one of Chicago’s finest resale shops, The Brown Elephant.

On Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Brown Elephant’s flagship store in the Lakeview neighborhood will play host to the company’s “Best of Brown Elephant” pop-up event.

WHEN:      Invitation-only preview event for media and bloggers, Friday September 16, 7 – 9 p.m.

Open to the public on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday September 18, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., both days

Created and curated by Brown Elephant’s very own Ana Culajay, the Best of the Brown Elephant features designer and vintage clothing and accessories that have been specially selected over the past few months from donations to each of the company’s three stores. The unique selection will feature designers such as Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Moschino , Ted Baker , Vivienne Westwood, MISSONI , Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, and more.

Prior to the weekend sale, fashion influencers, high-end donors, and select members of the media will be invited to preview the sale at a private event on Friday, September 16, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Brown Elephant Resale Shops support the mission of Howard Brown Health, with profits supporting healthcare services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and our allies who are either uninsured or underinsured.
